खानापूर तालुक्यातील तरुणाला  काजू चोरी प्रकरणात अटक

खानापूर (प्रतिनिधी) – खानापूर तालुक्यातील उचवडे गावचा तरुण महादेव तुकाराम पाटील (वय 30) याला मंडोळी येथील काजू फॅक्टरीतून तब्बल 2449 किलो काजू चोरीप्रकरणी अटक करण्यात आली आहे. बेळगाव ग्रामीण पोलिसांनी ही धडाकेबाज कारवाई करत 42 पोती काजू, ट्रक (केए 22  सी 9387) आणि इतर मुद्देमाल जप्त केला आहे.

ही चोरी 5 जुलै रोजी मंडोळी गावातील बाळासाहेब कृष्णा पाटील यांच्या काजू फॅक्टरीतून घडली होती. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी तत्काळ तपास सुरू केला होता.

9 जुलै रोजी बामणवाडीजवळ पोलिसांना एक ट्रक संशयास्पद स्थितीत आढळून आला. तपास करताच ट्रकमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणावर काजू असल्याचे लक्षात आले. चौकशी दरम्यान महादेव पाटील याने काजू मंडोळी येथून चोरल्याची कबुली दिली.

ही कारवाई पोलिस निरीक्षक नागणगौडा कट्टीमनीगौडर, उपनिरीक्षक लकाप्पा जोडट्टी व त्यांच्या पथकाने केली असून, अवघ्या पाच दिवसांत चोरीचा छडा लावण्यात पोलिसांना यश आले आहे.

Youth from Khanapur arrested for stealing 2,449 kg cashews from Mandoli factory; truck and goods seized

Khanapur – In a major breakthrough, Belagavi Rural Police have arrested a 30-year-old youth, Mahadev Tukaram Patil, a resident of Uchawade village in Khanapur taluka, for stealing 2,449 kilograms of cashews from a factory in Mandoli. The police have seized 42 sacks of cashews, a truck bearing registration KA 22 C 9387, and other materials used in the crime.

The theft took place on July 5 at the cashew factory owned by Balasaheb Krishna Patil in Mandoli. Following a complaint, a case was registered at the Belagavi Rural Police Station.

On July 9, during routine patrolling near Bamanwadi, police found a suspicious truck transporting cashew sacks. Upon interrogation, driver Mahadev Patil confessed that the cashews were stolen from Mandoli. The police immediately arrested him and seized the truck and the stolen cashews.

The operation was successfully conducted under the leadership of PI Nagnagouda Kattimani Gowdar, PSI Lakkappa Jodatti, and their team. The police solved the case within just five days, earning appreciation for their swift action.
